Verzeta Studio is an open source desktop app for working with AI models as a team rather than a single assistant. You create named agents, each with its own provider, model, system prompt and tools, and they work in the same conversation, handing tasks to each other by name. You stay in the conversation and can redirect any agent while it works. Agents can read and write files in a project folder, run shell commands against an allow-list you control, search the web, write and run Python or Bash in a side canvas, work through multi-step task plans, delegate to sub-agents, and use tools from MCP servers. When they disagree they can open a poll and vote. Agents can also run on a schedule and report back. Project rooms can be created from templates with the team and tools already set up, and you can chat 1-to-1 with any member of a team. Skills can be installed, reviewed, approved and enabled per project. Every message, tool call, file write and vote is recorded in an activity timeline you can audit later. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Ollama and llama.cpp, plus any OpenAI-compatible server such as vLLM, LM Studio, Jan, KoboldCpp or llamafile. One build includes llama.cpp and runs models with no separate server. Conversations are stored locally in a database. There is no account and no telemetry. It is a native app built with C++, Qt 6 and KDE Kirigami.
